In the Vastausta vailla ("Without an Answer") series, true crime author Heidi Holmavuo and crime novelist Elina Backman investigate unsolved Finnish cases. Homicides and disappearances with something murky about them. What happened back then? Why is the case still unsolved? Could it still be possible to find new information?

– “Our collaboration has already once led the police to reopen an old homicide investigation – that's why we can't stop. In this podcast, we visit the places where things happened, dig through archives and talk to people, and our goal is to find something new in every case we cover – at best, something that moves the case forward.”

Krash's comments: In producing this podcast, we wanted the series to sound like genuine investigative journalism. The soundscape emphasises the dramatic atmosphere, and recordings captured in the field add depth to the storytelling. In the promo clips, we focused on presenting the cases covered in each episode to spark listeners' interest.

Vastausta vailla was first released on 26 May, exclusively on Podimo.
